New Day 1

March 8, 2021: Today we find ourselves in an abundance of repetition and redundancy… maybe it is best to think positively… more along the lines of being a geologist or archeologist… (sure ya… keep re-framing it… it is still neglected filing and projects run amok! LOL)

Things to go: 391

So like before, the following will be moving on:

3 Magazines going to a musician friend as they are full of sheet music (which is never outdated!)

1 jar of unused chili powder discovered in a flinter box which still needs to be sorted (oops!)

1 box of expired supplements in the same box (double oops!) ~ thinking of 391, I wish I felt I was in integrity to count each pill! (good thing the thought is unthinkable for the chili powder ~ I can only imagine what my “over thinker” would get up to… ROFL! btw, shhhh… it is accepting the line in the sand for now)

Working my way through the First Aid Box… a bit of combining decluttering with projects ~ I expect there will be some of this as we progress…. I’ve started removing expired meds and am counting by category (seems more fair):

1 blister pack NSAID, 1 jar mentholated rub, a couple of packets of petroleum jelly, a couple of packets of Burn Cream and 1 unused enema.

You know, at first I thought about the wasted money…. then… I realized I had the wrong end of the stick… (good thing I found the tweezers ~ wink)… sincerely, I realized how happy I was the first aid items never had been used… it meant we had avoided injuries… and that’s somewhere between luck and a miracle with this crowd! My friend Jimmy always says you never know how many accidents you avoid… maybe this is a way of having a glimpse… either way… blessed (or at least lucky!)

Continuing on ~ here’s where the redundancy and repetition really gets going:

First, with what hurts the most, 3 missed opportunities ~ a free tape measure, free set of screwdrivers and 30% off an entire purchase which I could have used for new First Aid Supplies (had I found it a short time ago). Alas…. a cost of clutter…

Next, a whole pile of coupons from when I moved in 5 years ago! 2 of the stores aren’t even in existence anymore… ROFL! good thing I wasn’t in need or they would be in the above paragraph!

Followed by various bits of recycling/trash ~ piles of outdated coupons/sales flyers… 5 catalogs… old losing lottery tickets and the piece de resistance… more expired supplements! And we come full circle! (roll eyes here)

so…. Things removed today: 22 (WOW!)
