Day 13

February 13, 2021: Well, today getting in just under the wire!

Peculiar day because a power outage last night delayed this morning’s start. Plus, the new meds for remodulating my nerve endings caused some foggy limbo and temporal distortion. Nonetheless, with the company of my friend Ginger, via phone, I persevered! (you remember her? the one whose idea this challenge was…)

Choosing 2 large piles of filing, each at least 12″ high… yes, I know… it’s sad! LOL! Sorting for ages… I eventually filled one box with items for my scrapbooks and another with documents and letters destined for the filing cabinet.

Luckily, after 1 1/2 piles, tucked in between were items for letting go: 7 magazines, a few newspapers, some event flyers, a plethora of local advertisements, recycling/trash bits and pieces, an empty card holder and a historic baseball postcard I’ll mail to my 90 year old uncle ~ he loves anything sports! So, by my math, that is 13! I’m exhausted!

Please forgive, I’ll add the photos and some humor in the morning… I need to lay down…

See you tomorrow!

P.S. Humor promised: I don’t suffer from insanity—I enjoy every minute of it. LOL!

Hi, I'm Maggie! My grandmother always told me I should have weekly newspaper column titled "Maggie Says What" because of the outrageous things she thought I said. Then, she would laugh & laugh. Now, in honor of her, I am trying my hand at a blog. Hope you like it! Or at least have a good eye roll! ; )
